Join our team as a Team Lead, Project Management in Southern Ontario!

What you will do and how it contributes to our success

As a Team Lead, you will play an important role in supporting the growth, development, and success of a diverse team of project managers. Through coaching, mentorship, and day-to-day leadership, you will help team members build their skills, achieve their career goals, and deliver exceptional results for clients. You will foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment by empowering others, promoting accountability, and creating opportunities for growth. As a key people leader, you will help translate business priorities into meaningful actions and results for clients, team members and the organization, all while continuing to develop your own leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Learning alongside experienced project managers, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse team of project managers, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing environment where individuals are supported in achieving their career goals and professional growth
  • Drive team performance and business success by translating organizational priorities into action and aligning resources to business needs
  • Cultivate sustainable business growth by strengthening client relationships, developing account management capabilities within the team, identifying opportunities to expand services, and collaborating across the organization to support strategic pursuits and new client opportunities.
  • Build team capability and capacity through workforce planning, talent attraction, onboarding, employee engagement, and the effective allocation of resources to meet current and future business needs.
  • Provide financial and operational leadership by monitoring team performance, supporting sound business decisions, managing risks, and promoting financial accountability across projects and operations.
  • Champion continuous improvement and organizational priorities, including inclusive leadership practices, operational excellence, knowledge sharing, and the adoption of best practices that strengthen team and business performance.

Qualifications

What you Bring

  • A degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience leading and developing project managers or other professionals within a professional services environment
  • Passion and experience building high-performing teams through effective coaching, mentorship, performance management, and career development support
  • A strong understanding of professional services business models, including workforce planning, resource management, utilization, and team growth strategies.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting business growth through client relationship management and account development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to team members.
  • A professional designation such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, Registered Architect, or a similar credential are considered strong asset

Expected Compensation: $114,416 – $153,197 per year (CAD)

This range represents our good-faith estimate at the time of posting, based on market benchmarks and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined considering the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and regional consideration. Annual bonus opportunities are in addition to base salary.
