Your role

 

Join our team as a Regional Marketing Specialist with the Marketing team.

 

The Regional Marketing Specialist works closely with staff and leadership to ensure that all content and materials are aligned with the Colliers Project Leaders brand. They play a key role in ensuring that the company’s external presence is properly and successfully represented. They may also oversee the activities of external vendors and be responsible for the quality and timeliness of deliverables.

 

In the Specialist role, you will be exposed to, and become fully familiar with, Colliers Project Leaders’ overall priorities, business plans, key services and sectors. You will build relationships with internal subject matter experts throughout the company, and develop expertise in strategic value positioning, as well as brand and writing style, among other Colliers Project Leaders standards.

 

You will join a dynamic and extremely supportive marketing team, and work with colleagues across Central Canada, Northern Ontario and nationwide.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual industry conference plan and budget for assigned regions, working with business development, project directors and sector leads.
  • Monitor relevant regional industry and sector-specific events (e.g. OMAA, AMO CHES ON, OFNTSC) to identify speaking opportunities. Work with internal SMEs to develop and submit speaking abstracts and secure those opportunities. Support the development of presentation materials.
  • Manage exhibition and/or sponsorship logistics, including tradeshow banners, promotional items, booth schedule etc. while ensuring the quality, brand integrity and timeliness of those deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic marketing campaigns to support regional growth. Develop and execute those campaigns working with business development, SMEs and marketing colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and the communications teams to leverage branded materials and tools, and coordinate and customize as applicable for assigned Business Units (BUs) within brand guidelines.
  • Curate content for inclusion in external and internal communications (newsletters, website news posts, etc.) relevant to assigned BUs.
  • Support our social media presence by coordinating and providing content to the Social Media Specialist on key wins, completed projects and notable activities that reflect our corporate values.
  • Work with business development and SMEs to craft and format engaging client presentations tailored to specific sectors and service lines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Regional Marketing or Director, Marketing.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of marketing, communications or other relevant experience
  • A university degree or college diploma in marketing, communications or event planning (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
  • Deep knowledge of relevant marketing/communications methodologies
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • The ability to effectively convey messages and collaborate with all levels of the organization, as well as event / conference organizers and vendors
  • Creative thinker. Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in-person and remotely, and travel within Canada as required
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic InDesign skills and/or experience working in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and / or ClickDimensions is an asset
