This is an important role for the company to help us reach our business development targets and overall company growth strategy.

As the Proposal Writer, you are responsible for telling the story of how we can help our clients meet their real property needs. You lead the timely delivery of proposals for various internal teams, writing, editing, coordinating, and formatting content into clear submissions that are responsive to the client’s requirements.

Responsibilities

  • You’ve completed a number of projects, varying in size and scope in the public sector relating to educational, municipal or other institutional buildings, facilities, healthcare, and essential infrastructure
  • Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives
  • Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues

Qualifications

  • Fully-bilingual with the ability to read, write, and communicate in both the French and English language
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in reading and responding to Request for Proposal (RFP) documents and developing proposal submissions that respond to their requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office products with strong Word skills
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites software, in particular InDesign, is a strong asset.
  • Excellent business writing, editing and proofreading skills

Don’t have every single qualification? We know that some people are less likely to apply for a job unless they are a perfect match. At Colliers Project Leaders, we’re not looking for “perfect matches.” We’re looking to welcome people to our diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.  So, if you’re excited about this role but don’t have every single qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. Whether it’s this role or another one, you may be just the right candidate.

What you can expect:

  • An opportunity to truly impact our communities
  • A flexible work environment
  • A comprehensive onboarding experience
  • Significant professional development, training, and a mentorship program
  • A paid volunteer day
  • An environment where people feel welcome, heard and included, regardless of their differences
  • And much more!

Join our team of difference-makers and help shape the growth of dynamic communities.
