Join our team as a Project Manager with our Calgary Team!

 

We're seeking an aspiring and collaborative Project Manager to join our team of experts, with a focus of delivering retail and gas station projects.  Through this role you will be working closely with our client, paving the future for how their business operations perform. The success of this role hinges on the candidate’s ability to focus on project safety, organization, coordination, while understanding how to lead projects through design, permitting, and construction.  This highly rewarding role will be fast paced with lots of variety where you will have the ability to directly influence the success of the project.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Consult directly with clients and stakeholders, design and construction professionals to plan and implement capital building projects
  • You are seen as a valued and trusted team member and a subject matter expertise in contract management
  • You have great communication skills and ability to learn and understand complex technical terminology. 
  • Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills, and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives
  • Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical challenges
  • Your project teams rely on your ability to manage change, communicate, and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budget

Qualifications

  • A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience
  • PMP designation is a definite asset and will be supported to complete
  • Five years’ experience in project coordination and management, representing owners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS Projects)
