    What success looks like:

    • You’ve completed several infrastructure projects, varying in size and scope ideally in the relation to transportation systems and other horizontal infrastructure
    • You work closely with clients in the early conceptual stages of project initiation to ensure a strategic approach to project planning, setup and delivery
    • You are a trusted advisor to the client, applying your understanding of design, construction and operation of horizontal infrastructure
    • Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues
    • Your project teams rely on your ability to manage change, communicate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budget
    • A strong ability to lead the control of project related documents and deliver all work in accordance with company standards and procedures
    • You maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the business development team, Principal or Regional Vice President


    Who you are:


    We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager who is looking for the right opportunity to leverage their strong reputation in the infrastructure services sector into a successful leadership role. You bring a wealth of experience leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal and provincial infrastructure projects including transportation systems such as roadways, bridges, railways and transit ways, water and wastewater management, and other horizontal infrastructure projects. 


    You’re already known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers. You bring in-depth knowledge and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish – on time and on budget. You also maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, keeping them in mind for new business and sales opportunities.

    What you bring:

    • A university degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related discipline
    • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in project management, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of infrastructure projects
    • Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as relevant codes, contract law and legislation
    • Previous exposure to capital and municipal planning for horizontal infrastructure projects
    • Experience leading or considerably contributing to the preparation of RFP/Q’s, tenders and tender awards
    • Experience leading teams providing contract administration services for civil construction projects including full-time site resident services
    • Eng. or CET designation required, and PMP considered an asset

    Bonus skills and experience:

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively influence others and resolve client, project and technical issues
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Proficient in MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
