    As Colliers Project Leaders continues to attract exciting project opportunities, we seek a Senior Procurement Advisor to join our Vancouver team where you will provide strategic procurement advise to our clients.


    Do you consider yourself an expert in construction procurement modules? Do you have the ability to develop complex procurement strategies? Do you consider yourself a strategic partner to the client and someone that brings real solutions to complex procurement problems?


    As a Senior Procurement Advisor you will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding and working knowledge of complex construction specific procurement models and sourcing strategies. You will have expert knowledge in tendering and equipment packages and hold 10+ years industry experience in construction procurement, contract management and administration for medium to large scale building and facilities capital projects.


    The Senior Procurement Advisor takes responsibility for excellence in service delivery, managing procurement and contract assignments to our client’s satisfaction and marketing the company’s services.  Our Senior Buyer achieves project success through their client focused approach to procurement and contracts delivery, meeting the client’s construction project objectives at all times.

    What you’ll get to do as a Senior Procurement Advisor at Colliers Project leaders

    • Liaise with client business units and assist with developing strategies for the procurement of consulting services, construction services, materials and other goods and services.
    • Sound knowledge of various delivery models such as Design-Bid-Build, Design Build, Construction Management, and Public Private Partnership models
    • Coordinate, prepare, and issue tender documents, requests for proposals, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and other contract or project related administrative documents.
    • Evaluate bids and proposals, negotiate with vendors, and obtain client approvals.
    • Manage all administration from original requirements to contract close-out, to keep paper moving.
    • Ensure that all documents and processes are in compliance with the clients purchasing policies, guidelines and follow operational procedures.
    • Maintain regular status reports, tracking log updates, schedule updates, and other related documents.
    • Develop client relationships in a manner consistent with Colliers Project Leaders client centric approach.


    What you’ll need to be successful

    • 8+ years industry experience in construction procurement, contract management and administration for medium to large infrastructure and facilities capital projects
    • Experience working in a fast paced, time sensitive environment
    • Professional designations such as CCCA, SCMP, P.Eng., AIBC, PMP  or equivalent is an asset
    • Advanced working knowledge in supply chain management methodologies and ability to identify areas of improvement
    • Exceptional computer skills and a high level of competence with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
