What success looks like:

  • You’ve completed a number of facilities and building projects, varying in size and scope ideally in such domains as water, wastewater and storm water, water and wastewater treatment or transportation.
  • Your clients trust you and rely on your knowledge, skills and expertise to achieve their business goals and objectives, and to be their single point of contact throughout the project.
  • Your clients are impressed with your ability to represent their best interests regarding contractual and technical issues, and apply your understanding of design, construction and operation of municipal infrastructure.
  • Your project teams rely on your ability to manage change, communicate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budget
  • You maintain contact with existing and prospective clients and respond to business development and sales opportunities with support from the Business Development Team, Principal or Regional Vice President


Who you are:

We’re looking for experienced leaders who are looking for the right opportunity to leverage their strong reputation in the delivery of municipal and infrastructure projects into a successful leadership role. You bring a wealth of experience leading projects varying in scope and complexity such as water, wastewater and storm water systems, water and wastewater treatment or transportation systems including roadways, bridges and transit.


You’re already known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders. You bring in-depth knowledge and have led and managed complex projects from start to finish – on time and on budget. You also maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, keeping them in mind for new business and sales opportunities.

What you bring:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in project leadership and management, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of infrastructure projects for municipalities.
  • Strong knowledge of various construction methodologies, project management models and financial management, as well as industry regulation, contract law and relevant legislation
  • Previous exposure to capital and municipal planning for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience leading and contributing to the preparation of RFP/Q’s, tenders and tender awards.
  • Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., A.Sc.T or other similar industry recognized designation.

Bonus skills and experience:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to effectively influence others and resolve client, project and technical issues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Word and MS Excel
