To meet our strategic goals while continuing to be leaders in our field providing outstanding project management services to our clients, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in various areas within the Healthcare sector including planning, architecture, acute care, infection control, mechanical and electrical engineering, risk and change management, project scheduling, cost estimation, procurement and commissioning.


 As Senior Project Manager you will bring experience working on medium- to large-scale healthcare projects with a focus on advisory and consultancy services to owners and key stakeholder groups within the Healthcare space. You will be able to demonstrate a portfolio of successful healthcare projects varying in size and complexity. Ideally you will have experience in design, conduction and commissioning with specialized knowledge of acute care environments and infection control.



Our professionals will interface with diverse project teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.  Ideal candidates will be high performers in their field and will have such industry-specific credentials as PMP, P.Eng., RA, PQS, Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or other relevant industry designations.

How you’ll contribute as a Project Manager at Colliers Project Leaders:

  • Develop strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout the project to achieve the client’s goals and objectives
  • Work on medium- and large-scale healthcare projects with various project delivery models and ensure all work is in accordance with hospital standards, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects and the client’s best interests are represented with respect to contractual and technical issues
  • Interface regularly with internal and external project stakeholders, maintaining appropriate lines of communication on an ongoing basis
  • Initiate and maintain required project-related documents and deliver all work in accordance with Colliers Project Leaders Quality Management System processes and procedures
  • Coordinate, chair and participate in various project and site meetings, working collaboratively with the project team to resolve issues and engage multiple stakeholders to identify solutions


What you’ll bring:

  • 10 years + of demonstrated progressive Project Management experience, representing owners to multiple stakeholders in the delivery of new construction and renovation projects for the healthcare sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with healthcare operations and environments - acute care, emergency and infection control.
  • A university degree or diploma in such disciplines as engineering, architecture, construction project management, health service, procurement or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of various types of construction methodologies, project management models and financial management
  • Experience in large and complex alternative financing projects including P3s, would be an asset
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders to establish trust, credibility and respect.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a variety of professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and superior problem solving ability.
  • Excellent presentation, technical writing, facilitation and training skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications
  • Working knowledge of legislation, codes and policies regarding infection prevention and controls regarding healthcare construction and renovations
  • Professional industry credentials such as PMP, P.Eng., CET, RA, PQS Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt, 13-17 - Infection Control During Construction, or other similar industry recognized designation is considered a strong asset
