Colliers Project Leaders is experiencing unprecedented growth. We seek a Workplace Strategist to join our Advisory Services team and work with our valued public and private sector clients such as: corporate office, education, healthcare and social infrastructure, etc.

As a Workplace Strategist you will be responsible for developing workplace strategies for clients that are driven by the client’s business and cultural objectives. You will help the team deliver strategic workplace planning, pre-design services, high level programming  develop change management initiatives, business case development, and track design trends that impact space requirements.

Responsibilities

What you’ll get to do as a Workplace Strategist:

  • Set-up and deliver workplace innovation projects: Tasks include: Organize resources, meet with client leadership and other client representatives, conduct interviews, run workshops, conduct and analyze surveys, gather and analyze data, summarize data in easy to understand presentations.
  • Analyze different dimensions of the client organization, translate critical business/work processes into workplace models and infrastructure requirements, manage workplace innovation projects to meet fee realities, organize and manage resources, provide data to support invoicing. 
  • Develop deliverables, usually power point.
  • Present deliverables to clients in meetings and workshops.
  • Implement regular communications to clients and to Colliers regarding project progress.
  • Provide clear direction for selected service providers (as needed) on expectations, develop and implement clear & achievable service levels with remediation and escalation on disputes.
  • Help win projects through business development and RFP responses.
  • Meet all project deadlines.
  • Meet and interface with Client to develop options, finalize project concepts and prepare final documents for client approval.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to be successful: 

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • University Degree in Organizational Design, Industrial Organizational Behaviour, Urban Planning, Design, Strategy or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral.
  • Contract and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a matrix environment.
  • Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations to client needs.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams through exercises that will lead to change and organizational transformation.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior client leaders.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present in simple summarized ways. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Survey research design and analytic skills.
  • Willingness to learn required program.
  • Excellent customer service acumen and interpersonal relationship skills throughout all job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to develop and conduct primary and secondary research.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to be affective while working independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written and including negotiation, influencing and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of requirements between project needs and technical requirements of product.
